Merck's success is backed by ethical integrity, forward momentum, and an inspiring mission to achieve new milestones in global healthcare. Due to the increased growth in capital projects to support company initiatives, this position  will support the development  of a Project Delivery Process and tools and templates for Global Workplace and Enterprise Services.   This role will be responsible for helping to  define and provide optimal solutions to meet the business needs of the Corporation.  This role will assist in supporting the development of the   Global Workplace and Enterprise Services  Capital Delivery process and  in developing execution tools to streamline projects globally.  This role will assist in the development and implementation of the prioritization of the Capital Plan to allow for the proper allocation of capital dollars for projects, across the regions, supporting the business needs.  Will play a major role in the development of ongoing internal and external benchmarking processes to identify best practices and appropriate KPI's for MRL, Office, Demolition and Utility projects as needed.  Create dashboards to support the capital plan and identify cost and schedule indicators globally.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in the development and streamlining of the Global Workplace and Enterprise Services  Capital Delivery process and the development of execution tools. Maintain the Project Management Community of Practice team site. Provide project mentor support as needed to projects globally. Capture project costs and historical data at the end of a project to be used for benchmarking. Work with project teams to ensure assets are put in service upon project completion. Support analytics around monthly reporting and create and update dashboards and other necessary reporting tools to identify cost and schedule impacts. Development of ongoing internal and external benchmarking processes to identify best practices and appropriate KPI's for capital projects. Maintain lessons learned documentation. Identify trends of project safety issues and develop quarterly GWES Project Newsletter               Qualifications Education Minimum Requirement  Bachelor's Degree or higher (Engineering).  An advanced degree is preferred.  Required Experience and Skills   Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Project Management. Proficiency in the following competencies: empowering leadership, organization, flexibility, motivation, teamwork/collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and computer skills Demonstrated competency in business process improvement, capital planning or project management Knowledge of the Merck Capital Planning Process Preferred Experience and Skills Well versed in the Merck Capital Planning Process, LEED, Project Management, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement Strong knowledge in IT tools, data and analytics Your role at Merck is integral to helping the world meet new breakthroughs that affect generations to come, and we're counting on your skills and inventiveness to help make meaningful contributions to global medical advancement. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
