2019 MRL Analytical Sciences Intern

The Analytical Sciences (AS) group within Pharmaceutical Sciences is a multidisciplinary research group that develops and performs the analytical testing of within the drug development process.
Internship positions are available in 2019 in the AS group based at our Rahway, NJ and/or West Point, PA sites. During your internship appointment you will work closely with an experienced pharmaceutical industry scientist on a research project with key tasks that include, but not limited to, the following:
+ Performing critical testing of drug product, excipients, raw materials and components as part of drug development
+ Characterization and investigational analysis of clinical drug product development steps
+ Strong personal character and ethics
+ Superior communication and interpersonal skills
+ Excellent academic achievement and analytical ability
+ Good team player and ability to work independently
A letter of reference from a professor is highly recommended; you may attach it in the same section of the profile as your resume.
This is a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.

Education:
Required: Candidates must be current full-time student pursuing a BS, MS or PhD degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, and other relevant disciplines.
Required Experience and Skills:
+ Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to (12) weeks beginning in June of 2019.
+ Candidates must have working knowledge of physicochemical characterization techniques such as dissolution kinetics and solubility

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
