The intern position is within the Clinical Outcome Assessment team that falls within the Global Data Management & Standards Department (GDMS). The GDMS unit is responsible for delivering¬  quality clinical data and safety reports for optimal analysis and reporting on the efficacy and safety of our products, Support effective decision-making and information sharing for patients, prescribers and regulatory agencies and implementing high-quality enabling technology systems and tools to support critical business processes across Clinical Development.

Interactive Response Technology (IRT) enrolls, randomizes, and manages drug assignments in clinical trials.¬ ¬  The Interactive Response Technology team is responsible for providing end-to-end IRT & COA systems project management support including, but not limited to, gathering study-specific user requirements, may execute UAT tasks, managing project timelines, managing and enforcing IRT & COA systems Standards. IRT & COA Specialist also monitors system change requests and acts as Merck's IRT & COA systems subject matter expert while liaising with external vendors.

This is a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.

Qualifications

Education:


¬ 


Required: Candidates must be currently pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree in life sciences, computer science, engineering or related discipline.


¬ 


Required Experience and Skills:



  • Candidates must have prior experience in technology or computer science streams.

  • Candidates must have the ability to work up to (12) weeks beginning in May or June of 2019.

  • Candidates must have completed at least sophomore year¬  by June 2019.


Preferred Experience and Skills:



  • Candidates should demonstrate project management skills; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
