Merck Research Labs is currently recruiting for (2) summer intern positions for 2019 within the Primary Care project management team. These positions can be located in either Rahway, NJ or Upper Gwynedd, PA.
In conjunction with the Project Manager, the intern position is responsible for:
+ Drafting meeting agendas.
+ Learning how to use presentation / meeting materialtemplates and participate in preparation of content; as appropriate.
+ Participating in development of risk assessments andcreation of risk mitigation plans.
+ Participating in the clear communication of programissues / risks as they arise.
+ Observing Value and Label as Driver (VLAD) process;provide resource estimation to inform NPV analysis.
+ Participating in the preparation of program statusreports under the guidance of the project manager.
+ Assisting project manager in preparation of andparticipate as a team member on input for governance / decision making asappropriate.
+ Participating in creation of strategy documents forcommittee review.
This is a full-time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.
+ Required: Candidates must be currentlypursuing a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a scientific-related discipline.
RequiredExperience and Skills:
+ Candidates must be available to workfull-time for up to (12) consecutive weeks beginning in May or June of2019.
+ Candidates must be highly organized and capable of working with strong attention to detail with the ability to relate project details to larger objectives.
+ Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to foster collaborative relationships.
+ Candidates must be effective communicators, being able to appropriately raise issues, seek guidance, and keep colleagues fully apprised of project status and issues.
+ Candidates must be able to define solutions and execute actions across a team.
PreferredExperience and Skills:
+ Candidates should have familiarity with drug development.
+ Candidates should have a track record of accomplishments in a project management type of role.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
