Merck is seeking an intern to join their Global Data Management andStandards (GDMS) team. The internship program will help the student toutilize their skillset and increase their professional productivity. An idealcandidate for this position will have strong analytical and problem solvingskills, efficient time management expertise, an ability to work in a team andhandle conflicts efficiently. The intern is responsible for analyzing andmaintenance of several databases. The individual will work closely with theteam members to support database functions by utilizing designing and codingutilities along with updating and amending the existing databases.

Thisis a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available aspart of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.

Qualifications


Education:

¬ 

Required: Candidates must be currently pursuing abachelor's degree in computer science.


¬ 

Required Experience and Skills:


  • Candidates must have understanding of database management systems software.

  • Candidates must have Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, DB Access, MS Project).

  • Candidates must have knowledge of process management, documentation and basic project management skills.

  • Candidates must have experience in troubleshooting process/ project management issues.

  • Good analytical andcommunication ability.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
