PublicationPractices and Standards, within the Global Scientific and Medical Publications(GSMP) department is seeking a summer intern interested in medical publicationsproject management and database maintenance.¬ The intern will work closely with GSMP personnel to assist with projecttracking, database entry and reporting and will report to the DirectorPublication Practices and Standards. The internship will provide beneficialexperience and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry medicalpublications development process




Thisis a full- time internship position. Housing subsidy is not available aspart of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.

Qualifications

Education:


¬ 


Required: Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline.





Required Experience and Skills:




  • Candidates must have project management and database information entry experience.

  • Candidates must have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Candidates must be available for full-time employment for up to (12) weeks beginning in May or June of 2019.



Preferred Experience and Skills:


  • Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft applications.

  • Candidates should have GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Candidates should have experiencewriting, editing or reviewing scientific content.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
