Our client in Rahway is looking for a Clinical Systems Analyst to join their team!
The successful candidate will manage the following components of the hospitals clinical information system: orders and results for nursing, physician and ancillary departments. Also assists in the support of Computerized Physician Order Entry and electronic orders reconciliation. May also act as a physician liaison.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the Peri-Operative Information system as well as the Patient Portal.
Will develop an IS Clinical plan which meets, organizes, prioritizes, models and tests user acceptance. The analyst interfaces with all levels of hospital employees gathering necessary information to build components of the clinical information systems. Must be able to set priorities and work independently. Also provides end user training. Additional job responsibilities can found on our website.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Health Related field. 3-5 years of direct experience in the field of IT. Clinical background preferred.
Must be familiar with MS Office, including Word and Excel.
System configuration or building experience also required. Product.knowledge of clinical decision support rules, queries, or report writing a plus.
Allscripts applications experience a plus. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
