We are a team of data scientists whose goal is to assist scientists in laboratories in better planning, evaluating, and extracting data they generate.
One of our main objectives is to help implement Spatial Transcriptomics technology in practice and create a toolbox for processing this type of data.
Ideal candidate would be a data scientist, business analyst, project manager, and agile coach simultaneously.
Why? We are looking for someone who can lead and represent the Data Science team in a long-term impactful project.
The team operates in a flexible manner, learning and testing agile workflows.
The team collaborates closely with the business (scientists with partially overlapping IT and DS skills) and the engineering/infrastructure team (data engineering and AWS environment).
The roles of an ideal candidate would include:
Understanding the needs of the business Translating those needs into the technical/DS language Formalizing, documenting, and breaking down larger issues into manageable tasks Leading and coordinating the DS team Assisting the team in understanding the bigger picture, priorities, and impact of their work Checking the quality of deliverables Coordinating and helping the team present their results effectively We understand that the ideal skill set is broad, and we encourage candidates to apply even if not matching the requirements perfectly.

The must-have qualifications include:
Proficiency in the English language to effectively communicate with colleagues Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts Programming experience in python Project management skills, experience with agile methodology Nice to have qualifications that we currently use, and you would learn if unfamiliar with:
Image processing/computer vision Statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and the underlying math Code versioning using git Software development experience, issue tracking (JIRA) Familiarity with the AWS stack (S3, EC2, etc.
) Background in pharma/medical/biology Beneficial experience includes:
