Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas - Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials - Take and manage reservations over the phone or in person - Manage waitlist during peak hours and ensure efficient seating - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Answer guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant and menu - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or restaurant setting is preferred - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Strong guest service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of food service procedures and basic restaurant operations - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy As a host/host, you will have the opportunity to create a positive first impression for our guests.
