Position Description:
The Data Strategy and Literacy role is a core and leadership position in Digital Services, Digital Manufacturing Division, responsible for working within our Manufacturing Division across all capability pillars and close partnership with internal constituent groups and external partners to set the vision, strategy, and determine the data management processes and technical solutions to managing data as a strategic asset for our Manufacturing DivisionThis role will manage the STRATEGY for all aspects of our Manufacturing Division data transformation in support of critical operation outcomes AND enhanced engagement with data authors and consumers throughout our Manufacturing Division:
data acquisition data processing, data quality, master data management, data cataloging, and data lifecycle management.
This leader is responsible for the establishment and ongoing execution of the Data Culture pillar through building and sharing our Data Strategy, storytelling and effectively communicating to stakeholders, continuous data and digital upskilling across our Manufacturing Division.
The successful candidate has experience supporting large scale data and digital transformation programs and this role requires a continuous improvement and growth mindset with strong technical and data acumen and experience to ensure programs are delivered holistically, and as efficiently and effectively as possible.
This role has data analytics experience and works collaboratively across our Manufacturing Division to understand and assess data needs, vision, and strategy.
The ideal candidate has proven track record building exceptional credibility, trusted partnerships, and have strong ability to influence at all levels of the organization to build alignment on strategic objectives.
Primary
Responsibilities:

Partner with Digital and our Manufacturing Division leadership and stakeholders to formulate, communicate, and implement data strategy, roadmap that aligns with desired business outcomes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to implement and roll out effective Data Literacy strategy, plan, and relevant upskilling
Execute and deliver on the data literacy and culture plan with milestone and progress tracking and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders at varying levels
Design, build and drive the overall strategy, methodology, and roadmap for processes, systems, tools, and capabilities to manage our core data assets
Design the delivery of Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Catalog, and Data Marketplace strategy and solutions
Support Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Domain teams through execution of robust, scalable, sustainable, compliant, automated, and innovative data quality framework, scorecards, and technologies that facilitate ongoing automated business process improvements
Identify and influence decisions and alignment for best-in-class solutions and automation to support the integrated data governance and master data management strategy with existing and future cloud-based data and AI/ML platforms
Collaborate with external partners in the data ecosystem to implement a robust and agile data architecture, platforms, and tooling capabilities
Be a change agent to promote data management, data governance, data quality, and data literacy across our Manufacturing Division and the enterprise
Optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of data access, utilization, confidence, consistency through automation and integrations
Accountable for clear roadmap (e.
g.
, key capabilities delivered to the business) and execution plans
Develop and execute enterprise vision and strategy with business stakeholders to drive the overall data lifecycle management across multiple data domains
Assess, manage, maintain, and improve strategies to reduce data redundancy, improve consistency, quality, and confidence of data used for decision making
Influence data scientists, data analysts, data engineers, and BI developers on effective access of the right data to meet their needs
Assess and support emerging data technologies and innovation
Engage and partner with cross-functional stakeholders (value teams, domain leads, business partners, product owners, etc.
) to build project plans and business cases that drive MMD business outcome and value realization
Ensure senior leaders and business stakeholders are consistently well informed about product strategy, capabilities, priorities, timelines, releases, issues, and risks
Drive and reinforce highest standards and best practices in technical and operational excellence Position Qualifications :
Education Minimum Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Required Experience and Skills:

Strong leadership skills and the proven ability to drive organizational change?
Strong leadership and team building skills and must be able to collaborate effectively with a group of high performing individuals
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience managing biotechnology operations teams, integrating data-driven operations processes with highly integrated enterprise information technology.

Minimum of 3-5 years engaged with data strategy and literacy best practices such as data management consulting, master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, and/or data quality; in support of key operational outcomes.

Solid experience in database design, architecture, performance, and integration practices
Experience in product and people management with Data Strategy & Literacy knowledge and implementation
Proven track record in leading large transformational efforts and demonstrating successful project management, leadership, and execution skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills able to effectively communicate complex concepts in simple ways?
Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the squads potential?
Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns?
Demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders and navigate across conflicting priorities to balance critical tactical and strategic needs ?
Strategic thinker, with demonstrated ability to work in a broad and top-down manner with a fair amount of ambiguity
Demonstrated ability as a strategic technical partner, energetic, self-starter working collaboratively to plan, prioritize, and achieve business goals and OKRs, and drive multiple deliverables concurrently

Preferred experience in deployment of data management solutions such as MDM, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Sourcing, Data Enrichment, and Data Marketplace (e.

MBA or Masters degree in a relevant field
Previous experience working in a global environment and transformational change
Experience with manufacturing environments and digital culture is a plus
