Broadway, Movies, special events, retail, permanent installations and trade shows.
We build unique, detailed props, scenery and displays that encompass a broad variety of specifications.
Our environment is fast-paced and we handle multiple projects with rapid lead-times and firm deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Prop construction Able to work with different materials (wood, foam, acrylic, metal, fabric, etc.
) Various finishes:
faux/scenic, lacquer, HVLP, airless, stains Prep work:
filling and sanding Sculpting:
hard and soft Sewing:
hand, machine, serger Able to handle multiple project at the time Maintain workshop clean and organized Pay attention to details do finish work Work in a very fast paced environment with high standards for quality Requirements:
Able to work and communicate with others Minimum of 3 years of experience as a craftsperson or similar capacity Great eye for details and meeting high-quality expectations Capable of performing in a deadline-driven environment Artistic/Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box Collaborative approach Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed, during busy seasons Experience with mold making and casting is a plus Job Types:
