US Regional Director Medical Affairs - Thoracic Malignancies (Hybrid)

Job DescriptionOur Medical Affairs team advances patient care by engaging in scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry professionals ensuring the scientific value of our products is realized.
We engage and train internal employees to ensure that they thoroughly comprehend the science behind the medicine and review further unmet medical needs to bolster collaboration and further differentiate our portfolio.
The Regional Director of Medical Affairs (RDMA) for Thoracic Malignancies holds primary responsibility for the development and execution of regional oncology Medical Affairs strategies and plans for Thoracic Malignancies in the US across indications.
The US RDMA for Thoracic Malignancies provides scientific and medical expertise to the US Medical and US Marketing organizations.
Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
Develops and executes US Medical Affairs strategy for Thoracic Malignancies Drives creation and facilitation of training materials for the Oncology Medical Affairs team through the appropriate review systems and serves as the medical approver of these materials.
Designs, updates and gives training both internally and externally in collaboration with the global scientific training and content teams.
Coordinates, presents at and leads Advisory Boards and other meetings with US Scientific Leaders Engages in scientific exchange with Scientific Leaders to obtain input on disease landscape, current data, and evidence gaps.
Helps with planning of various aligned activities around major oncology congresses.
Supports commercial group for launch preparation and post-launch activities.
Serves as a member on the Value Evidence sub-team for Thoracic Malignancies internal stakeholders' expectations with timely updates.
Interacts with internal stakeholders for needs assessment and planning.
Leads strategy and interactions with Patient Advocacy Groups Tracks guidelines and regulatory landscape in the US region Review of Investigator Initiated Studies Collaborates and leads interaction with our external collaboration partners with whom we co-develop oncology products.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Advanced degree:
MD, PhD or PharmDRequired experience and skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience at a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company in Oncology, working in headquarters medical affairs leading cross functional matrix teams.
Proven ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) scientific and business information, both, to a variety of audiences including company management, scientific leaders and lay audiences.
Proven track record of translating strategies into tactics that are executed and completed Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively collaborate with and influence partners within and across divisions.
Proven ability to collaborate with others and to resolve conflicts.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience with Thoracic Malignancies is preferred.

Hybrid Work ModelEffective September 5,2023 our U.

Hybrid work model will be as follows:
1.
Three total days on site per week:
Tuesday and Wednesday - plus one additional day of choice based on what works best for organizations and/or teams.
2.
Fridays will formally be a remote-working day unless business critical tasks require onsite presence.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job.
Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$193,440.
00 - $304,500.
