Job DescriptionPosition Description:
EHS & Environmental Sustainability SpecialistProvide support to the site FM environmental sustainability initiatives.
Provide support to the interaction between the site and CoE strategy and initiatives.
Provide support the site energy team in the identification and development of energy efficiency improvements and energy awareness.
Provide support to scorecard maintenance through the input and monitoring of site initiatives into the Resource Advisor dashboard tool.
Day-to-day support for assigned area(s) may include input to various projects for various site facilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interactions with internal customers and external service providers.
Interfaces with internal clients in lab, office and/or manufacturing operations to develop shared support goals.
Attend and participate in best practice sharing at monthly GENIUS meetings Actively use and promote Global Energy & Sustainability CoE tools and initiatives Participate in networking with other sites through participation in periodic knowledge-sharing meetings Supports the on-time completion of strategic initiatives Assist in the recognition of issues or complexities to processes and bring forward potential solutions Assist in change management as relates to the roll out of strategic initiatives Assist in the monitoring of systematic metrics to understand project performance and improvement opportunities Assist in the development of technical documentation Ensures compliance to programmatic requirements Supports culture change toward safety goal of Target Zero, as well as ongoing reinforcement of Safe by Choice principles and behaviors.

Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in EHS or related technical discipline preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
3-5 years applied professional EHS work experience.
Advanced level of proficiency in the areas of EHS compliance, environmental programs, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Basic level of skill with project management and problem solving.
Experience managing data-intensive processes with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
Working knowledge of sustainability industry trends and policy implementation.
Experience leading projects from initiation to completion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office's suite of programs.
Experience with Greenhouse Gas Protocol preferred.
Demonstrated ability to collect and handle sensitive/ confidential data.
Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements, even in a virtual environment.
Demonstrated ability to initiate new creative ideas and take projects from concept through implementation in a constantly changing environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, can-do attitude.
Ability to handle potentially stressful situations with a positive attitude.
Strong analytical skills to identify relevant data.
Review documentation, evaluate the performance of various initiatives, and conduct research on changes to environmental regulatory procedures.

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$80,320.
00 - $126,500.
