Summary:
Responsibilities oThe Operator is responsible for the set- up, operation, routine maintenance, and cleaning of Encapsulation/Compression department's equipment in accordance with applicable cGMP, SOPs and FDA regulations.
oThe Operator possesses all of the skills and competencies that are required oSet up Encapsulation/Compression equipment and machinery in preparation oPerform required Encapsulation/Compression duties including running Encapsulation capsule filler, capsule polishers, floor scale, desk balance, capsule feeder, metal checkers, capsule weighing system, moving drums etc.
oCompression tablet press, metal checker, tablet tester, hardness tester, desk balance and floor scale oDrums are transferred onto a pallet and pulled into capsule rooms as needed oProduct is scooped into hopper as needed oFill out all batch record information and other encapsulation paperwork oPerform changeover and set ups of manufacturing equipment oClean equipment and facilities oWarehousing of product - incoming and outgoing oOther duties as assigned or delegated Qualifications oHS Diploma or educational equivalent o1-3 Years of proven experience in manufacturing oAbility to perform basic math functions to include ratios and decimals oAbility to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency oPhysical ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
